As parents who have been through the transition from primary to secondary school, we understand why parents may wish for their child to practise sitting a formal test in a large venue.
This is why the PFA offers Familiarisation Tests (FamTests) for parents who want their children to get used to the experience before sitting the actual test.
Once again, we will be hosting FamTests to help prepare children, with a date of birth from 1 September 2015 to 31 August 2016, for the experience and environment of the Selective Eligibility Test (SET) on Saturday, 27th and Sunday, 28th June 2026. There are two sessions on each day, but all the sessions are the same test so you need only book for one session.

We have unlimited free places available for families who would otherwise be unable to afford these Familiarisation Tests. To apply for one of these places, please write in confidence to the PFA, via our ‘Contact Us‘ form.
